A look back at Delivrone’s test flights with Superwyze sensors at Montceau-les-Mines Hospital<\/strong><\/p>\n

On May 15, 2025, the Center Hospitalier de Montceau-les-Mines<\/a><\/span> hosted a technological experiment unprecedented in Burgundy-Franche-Comt\u00e9: the first test flights of medical drones operated by start-up Delivrone<\/a><\/span>. The project, successfully coordinated by Laurent Rathouis of the CHWM, <\/a><\/span>the linchpin of the S\u00e2one et Loire Bresse Morvan GHT, has resulted in several flights between Montceau-les-Mines and Sevrey. In concrete terms, the aim was to test a new logistics solution for transporting medical equipment. <\/p>\n

Partner of this initiative, Superwyze<\/a><\/span> has equipped the on-board medical coolers with ultra-light sensors, enabling precise monitoring of the interior temperature throughout the flight. Once the drone has arrived at its destination, hospital teams can access the recorded data and check that storage conditions have been respected, a crucial issue for heat-sensitive healthcare products such as biological samples or certain drugs. <\/p>\n

Weighing just 3 grams, our sensor fits perfectly into the constraints of air transport. It represents a mere 0.1% of the drone’s maximum payload (3 kg), optimizing the space available for medical content without compromising traceability. <\/p>\n

Last but not least, this project, reported in the JT de 13h de France 3<\/a><\/span> Bourgogne-Franche-Comt\u00e9, demonstrates the determination of the CH de Montceau-les-Mines and its partners to explore concrete solutions for modernizing hospital logistics. These initial trials mark a promising step towards more responsive, more reliable transport chains, fully adapted to the demands of the healthcare sector. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
